As a member of the Organization of American Historians and the Community College Humanities Association, I have given presentations at regional and national conferences. Additional experience as a pianist, extensive background in the fine arts, and mentoring high school students for college preparatory skills have kept me active in my community. I was born and raised abroad and am a seasoned world traveller and enthusiastic subscriber to and supporter of the local arts communities.
