Welcome
I have created this site as a central hub for my students to access the various classes I teach. During the week, you will notice that the content will change periodically as I update this site.
I teach predominantly online and hybrid classes at different colleges. This site also gives students the option to access class materials at an alternative server other than their respective school servers that go offline at various (and always!) inconvenient times.
Please navigate this site and especially, the web site for your particular class. You will notice that links to your respective classes are located at the top in the horizontal menu. Links to school sites are in the main menu in the upper left side. Links to resources are located in the menu below the main menu and the login module (which appears on the front page only) is located below the resources menu. To the right you will find the search and translation modules. The search module is self-explanatory. The translator translates text in the web pages only. It will not translate the pdf files of the articles in this site. I make the translator available for those students whose primary language is other than English in order to ease the navigation of the site, as site navigation can be challenging for each person. It is not perfect, as one can see by reading the Japanese translation; none the less, the module should be of some value. Please remember that each student is responsible for fully and fluently comprehending the class material and for submitting his or her own generated work for class assignments in grammatically correct English.
In addition, if you are enrolled in one of my classes, you may want to register in order to access course documents and other information and resources or upload interesting links for the benefit of your fellow classmates and to broaden our base of knowledge.

Edmodo How-to Videos 2011Edmodo (Discussion Team Network) Be sure to sign in to edmodo. It might take a bit of getting used to, but I think most students will learn to appreciate it. You can find the correct code for your class within your respective class web site. I have created three orientation videos to help you navigate through Edmodo: Last Updated (Wednesday, 24 August 2011 00:11) |
